Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading Level I Trauma Children's Hospital in Philadelphia, PA to find dedicated Radiology Technologists to join their growing team.

About the Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and caring Radiology Technologist to play a vital role in a fast-paced pediatric environment. You will utilize your expertise to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures on children of all ages, ensuring accurate results to support critical diagnoses and treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray, fluoroscopy, and other modalities, following established protocols and ensuring patient safety.
• Accurately position patients and equipment to obtain optimal image quality.
• Assist physicians during fluoroscopic procedures.
• Maintain a sterile and organized work environment.
• Provide clear and concise patient education and instructions.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiation safety protocols and infection control practices.

Qualifications:

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (R) required. Must be eligible for Pennsylvania licensure.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a pediatric healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of pediatric anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, especially with children and their families.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Proficient in computer skills and comfortable using radiology information systems.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is mandatory.
