The Colorant Group at Accurate Dispersions is seeking a Technical Manager to lead development activities for the Industrial Colorants group. This role will be responsible for developing close partnerships with the Performance Coatings Group's business units and Global Supply Chain to clearly identify the needs and define projects and project priorities for SW global industrial colorant platforms – development to commercialization. They will also develop and recommend strategies for exploratory research within their department to investigate opportunities to utilize new technologies or achieve general market needs.

Minimum Requirements
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math field
• Must have at least 5 years of supervisory experience
• 5+ years of product development and/or formulation experience
• Knowledge and experience of coating formulation, processing and product commercialization; fundamental knowledge of material science application for industrial products development.
• Experience in project management with track record of successfully completed complex projects
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry
• 7 years supervisory experience
• Experience in colorant dispersions, pigment development and/or solvent borne paint
• Stage-gate leadership experience within NPD with proven track record taking products from idea to launch, with complete technical responsibility for R&D (such as prototyping, testing, manufacturing)
• Strong skills in personnel and team development – working with both non-professional and professional level reports
