Company Overview:
We provide innovative fiber optic cable solutions for data centers, enterprise businesses, telecommunications, cable television, and residential broadband networks. Our Claremont, NC-based R&D Fiber Cable Engineering team is growing, and we are seeking a Product Engineer to contribute to the design and development of our fiber cable families, including Premises, Indoor/Outdoor, and Outdoor cables.

This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Field Application Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, and Quality.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related engineering field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical).
• Minimum of 5 years of engineering design experience.
• Proven experience in the fiber optic cable manufacturing industry, specifically in designing fiber ribbons and ribbon fiber cables.
• Strong understanding of safety and quality standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Analytical and creative approach to technical problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with manufacturing teams in a production environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% within the U.S.
