Raw Materials Supervisor

River Road Ready Mix Products, Inc is a company based in Savannah, Georgia. We specialize in ready mix concrete products and provide top quality services to residential and commercial customers in the region. Our goal is to produce durable concrete that meets the specific needs of customers in different industries.  

We are seeking a Raw Material Supervisor who will be responsible for managing the transporting of raw materials to and from various plant locations using different types of vehicles and equipment. The position includes managing employees. 

Responsibilities

• Manage stock pile and material inventory. 
• Manage cement inventories. 
• Manage hourly haulers by conducting performance reviews, training, discipline, employee relations, compliance and all safety aspects of the job. 
• Other duties as assigned.  

Requirements

•  3 plus years of concrete ready-mix experience preferred. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in managing and leading teams, with strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Experience managing employees. 
• Demonstrated experience in raw material transport. 
• Strong understanding of continuous improvement principles and methodologies, with a track record of successful implementation. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using plant management software and other relevant computer applications. 
• A commitment to health and safety, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
• Ability to operate a drone. 
• Ability to pass DOT/CDL requirements if needed. 
• Ability to pass background check. 
• Ability to pass drug test.
