This position will be supporting the Poultry Business Unit, specifically

Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Georgia,

Virginia, Arkansas region,

and other regions as assigned. The candidate must

reside

in Northwest, Arkansas.

Job Purpose/Summary:
The Area HR Partner is an HR professional with a track record of success in Human Resource field operations. This position will lead a team of HR Partners across an assigned region to assist in the coordination and execution of Human Resources policies, procedures, and programs. This position oversees HR within the region supporting the business to ensure all policies, programs and procedures are streamlined, executed, and enable Tyson's strategic initiatives, values, and culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership and Strategic Partnership: Lead and manage a team of HR Partners and Sr HR Partners, providing guidance, mentorship, and coaching to ensure high performance, development, and engagement. Act as a trusted advisor to operational leadership, providing insights and guidance on all HR-related matters.
2. Tactical Operational Excellence: Lead and oversee area execution of day-to-day HR operations, including but not limited to employee relations, talent acquisition, onboarding, learning performance management, succession planning, employee programs, and compliance collaborating across a matrixed HR team. Responsible for efficient execution and tactical operational excellence in assigned area.
3. Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Strategic HR Partner, HR Centers of Excellence, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the HR function. Implement and drive improvement initiatives that streamline HR processes to meet the needs of the business and drive positive operational outcomes.
4. HR Strategy Implementation: Aligns HR initiatives to the business strategy which includes the ability to identify, analyze, understand, and articulate business goals and objectives at the plant and business unit level.
5. Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives related to employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and employee well-being to create a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
6. Compliance: Ensure HR policies, procedures, and practices follow relevant employment laws and regulations. Recommend corrective actions as necessary. Collaborate with Centers of Excellence regarding business-specific reporting related to requests such as affirmative action, veteran status, and compliance.
7. Data Analysis: Proactively utilize HR analytics and data-driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations related to HR initiatives and strategies that ensure business operations efficiency.
8. Communication: Ensures communication is cascaded appropriately around HR processes, procedures, expectations, and goals. Collaborates in the design and communication of Business Units and HR strategies.

9. Organizational Pulse and Storytelling: Maintain a deep understanding of the organization's pulse, capturing the essence of employee sentiment, organizational dynamics, and workplace culture. Communicate these insights to respective operational leadership. Offer proactive recommendations and solutions to continuously elevate organizational performance, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and fostering a culture of excellence.
Note: This is a field-based position which will require travel in the associated Area of support.

Requirements:
Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR Equivalent work experience to be considered in lieu of higher education. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) is preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in HR leadership roles, with a minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in HR management. Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred.
Computer Skills: Strong computer and data analysis skills
Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with a team and to multiple audiences
Special Skills: Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Supervisory: Yes
Travel: - Yes, will support an area/region and be expected to travel on site as needed (50% or more of the time).
