Ready Mix Sales / Dispatch

Description

Mack Industries is adding a sales professional to our growing Ready Mix Division. As a sales representative one will create new customer relationships, retain current business, and maintain general sales reports. 

Essential Functions

• Service concrete contractors and construction projects primarily in the Medina, Summit and Lorain County
• Maintain and grow current knowledge of local competitive markets, knowledge in ready mix concrete, concrete construction, and concrete related products and services
• Strong sales abilities to acquire new customers and grow Mack’s market shares in Northern Ohio
• Develop a pipeline of new opportunities to meet market reach goals
• Prepare weekly reporting to include projected, forecasted and completed sales
• Participate in and provide strategy for product offerings and market trends
• Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes and shift time changes
• Visiting job sites with attention to safety of our drivers and customers  
• Assist in other areas of operations as needed

Requirements

Education and Training

• Some college, business degree preferred, or industrial sales experience required.
• Experience as a concrete contractor or sales experience in construction preferred.
• Construction site safety including concrete material handling and basic equipment maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge or business CRM software and Microsoft Office
• Able to work independently
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Environment Conditions and Physical Strain

• Construction environment, seasonal weather conditions
• Due to the nature of the operation, the levels of noise, dust and dirt can be high.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, on occasion
• This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day
