Real Estate Associate Attorney

Requirements:

Candidate Will have the following: Minimum 2 years of experience working on a variety of real estate matters, including lender or borrower side mortgage and mezzanine financings, joint venture deals, and real estate acquisitions and dispositions ; Experience within a major law firm setting (experience will be current or very recent).

Stellar academic credentials (law review and/or moot court accolades preferred) ; NY Bar.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Representing a diverse clientele including real estate developers, landlords, top financial institutions, Fortune 100 companies, and leading national retailers in variety of real estate transactions.
• Engaging in acquisitions and dispositions, real estate finance and workouts, leasing and asset management, joint ventures, real estate private equity funds, unit trusts, and real estate investment trusts.
• Covering transactions and disputes involving investments in all types of commercial real estate.
• Counseling Developers and landlords, leading financial institutions (including investment advisers, private equity firms, and commercial and investment banking institutions), Fortune 100 companies, national and regional retailers on a wide range of sophisticated transactions involving real properties located throughout the United states.
