Job Details: We are seeking a seasoned Permanent Real Estate Attorney to join our dynamic team in the legal industry. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated professional with a strong background in Zoning Law and a proven track record in real estate law. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience, a deep understanding of legal principles, and the ability to provide strategic legal advice on complex real estate matters.
Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive legal counsel on all real estate matters, including acquisitions, leasing, development, and disposition. Interpret and provide advice on zoning laws, regulations, and policies to ensure compliance in all real estate transactions and developments. Prepare and review legal documents including deeds, leases, purchase agreements, easements, and other documents related to real estate. Represent the company in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend or prosecute lawsuits. Negotiate real estate transactions, draft legal documents, and manage closing processes. Conduct extensive legal research to support decisions on legal matters related to real estate. Collaborate closely with other attorneys and professionals in the legal team to ensure the best legal strategies are employed. Advise on property rights, legal restrictions, and public or private regulations. Manage relationships with external counsel, clients, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications: Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. A minimum of 5 years experience as a Real Estate Attorney. Must be licensed to practice law in the state. Proven experience in Zoning Law. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in legal research software and other legal tools. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. High ethical standards and professionalism in dealing with confidential information. Strong understanding of real estate contracts and lease agreements. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships. Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information.
