Real Estate Development Project Manager

Schell Brothers' sister company, Ocean Atlantic (www.oacompanies.com) is seeking a Project Manager (PM) for Real Estate Development. This position is responsible for providing project support to Ocean Atlantic’s real estate development team. The Project Manager will assist with projects involving the design, engineering, construction, and upkeep of current and upcoming real estate development projects. 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Collaborate effectively with our development team to ensure timely and budget-conscious project designs 
• Manage bidding processes, select contractors, and oversee all land development activities 
• Communicate proficiently with utility providers to plan, construct, and relocate infrastructure 
• Conduct site inspections to monitor the progress of multiple projects 
• Offer proactive solutions to resolve complex problems 
• Analyze and update project performance data for informed decision-making 
• Evaluate contractor performance in relation to project plans and scopes of work 
• Establish and maintain project reporting for historical analysis and monitor field construction performance

• 3+ years of real estate development or equivalent experience (required) 
• Understanding of real estate development concepts 
• Ability to interpret construction drawings 
• Self-driven and results-oriented 
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills 
• Capability to manage schedules effectively 
• Experience in contractor management 
• Competence in organizing and supervising project activities 
• Familiarity of financial budgeting tools and their application 
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities 
• Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Office applications)
