Summary:
An experienced paralegal is needed to support legal operations related to commercial landlord-tenant law, eviction processes, lease enforcement, and litigation. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in real estate law and hands-on litigation support, who thrives in a dynamic in-house legal team environment. The position involves working across departments to provide legal support on day-to-day operational matters, lease provisions, and disputes.

What You’ll Do:

• Draft and serve default notices, demands, and legal correspondence under attorney supervision


• Manage commercial eviction and breach of lease actions, including monitoring litigation timelines


• Conduct in-depth lease due diligence focused on covenants, exclusives, and restrictions


• Coordinate with outside counsel, collections, and property teams on legal matters


• Respond to subpoenas, manage legal holds, and assist with e-discovery and litigation support


• Support resolution of mechanics' liens, construction litigation, and tenant bankruptcies

Experience You’ll Need:

• Bachelor’s degree and ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate required


• Substantial experience in commercial real estate and/or litigation support


• Strong familiarity with lease enforcement, unlawful detainer, and related litigation processes


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, redlining, Excel, and legal document management tools


• Experience with tenant communications and lease analysis a strong plus
