Job Description - Receiving and Facilities Associate
Twenty2 is seeking to hire a full-time Receiving & Facilities Associate in our Shipping & Receiving Department.
We are a full service wallpaper and textiles printer, our design driven team provides development and manufacturing expertise for private label collections and custom projects. We put our knowledge to work for our partners; when they succeed so do we.
This is a great opportunity for someone with great hands-on warehouse experience and an eye for detail to join our Shipping & Receiving Department. This position is both physical and computer based, and requires being on your feet for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 pounds. The typical daily job responsibilities include: receiving & inventorying incoming freight (40% of your day), facilities & maintenance tasks (20%) inventory management of shop supplies (15%), small parcel receiving and distribution (15%). This position will spend significant time operating a forklift, walkie stacker, and pallet jacks.
Receiving Associate Responsibilities:
Handle all aspects of receiving, storage, and distribution of parts & raw materials received from suppliers (freight & small parcel)
Maintain accurate warehouse inventory including conducting monthly cycle counts and collaborating with purchasing & production teams to address discrepancies
Assist Production Team in quality control checks of incoming materials
Maintain inventory of shipping materials, shop, and office supplies
Pull materials requested by the Production Team in a timely manner
Prepare outbound palletized freight including packaging and prep of BOL
Maintain warehouse with priority on safety and efficient use of space
Work with Facilities Lead to perform or schedule preventative maintenance on the structure and basic equipment.
Manage Vendor relationships and schedule facilities work as needed (Janitorial, Landscaping, Pest Control, HVAC, Plumbing, etc.)
Other related tasks as assigned to support the Receiving & Facilities Departments
QUALIFICATIONS:
2-3 Years Receiving or Warehouse Experience
1-2 years Forklift experience (paid certification if needed)
General trades knowledge - enough to identify and communicate issues to our contractors
Strong written communication skills and the ability to communicate specific information clearly and concisely
Collaborate and communicate effectively and professionally with our team and our vendors
Keen attention to detail and dedication to documentation
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to follow, understand, and execute direction as given to you by your manager
Able to thrive in a deadline-driven environment
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to utilize rolling ladders and other small equipment
Ability to learn and utilize proprietary computer software
Resourcefulness and creative problem solving
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
