We are currently seeking a full-time Receiving & Return Supervisor in our West Jordan, Utah area!
The Receiving and Return Supervisor is a role designed to direct and delegate daily workloads and projects to the Receiving team under the supervision of the Receiving & Inventory Manager.
Duties include:
Receiving Team Supervision:
The Receiving & Returns Supervisor is responsible for prioritizing the team workload between inbound processing, department projects and assisting the team in processing purchase orders and returns. The supervisor ensures the team members adhere to all department SOP’s and processes. The Receiving & Returns Supervisor works with the Receiving & Inventory Manager on implementation of department KPI’s and goals for the team.
Purchase Order and Returns Processing:
The Receiving & Returns Supervisor should be knowledgeable and fully competent in receiving and processing inbound purchase orders and returns without additional guidance. They will ensure that tracking of inbound purchase orders and customer return RN numbers being recorded daily as they are delivered, preferably in a Receiving Monday board, for internal tracking and reporting purposes. The supervisor will be able to understand and navigate SAP to complete PO/RN receipts, goods movements, change of stock, confirmation journal, and receipt reversal tasks. Oversees communication between other departments and teams regarding po and return processing/ issues.
Receiving Monday Boards:
The receiving department works within its own Monday board workspace as well as shared boards with other various departments. It is the Receiving & Returns Supervisors responsibility to manage their teams’ respective boards e.g. Workspace with task/item creations and updates. They must be familiar with their board(s) and understand their use in addition to training other team members on their functions and how to use them.
Daily Responsibilities and Reports:
Working with the Receiving team, the Receiving & Returns Supervisor is expected to dispatch the team as well as themselves with departments daily tasks and responsible for keeping the team accountable. This includes adhering to current department processes while striving to build upon and improve in areas where possible and necessary. The Receiving & Returns Supervisor manages the organization and cleanliness of the department’s immediate workspace within the warehouse, ensures EOD clean-up is followed and completed with the team. Creates, manages, and submits department KPI’s (daily) as requested by the Receiving & Inventory Manager and Warehouse Director.
Training:
Responsible for training current and new hire employees on department processes and best practices e.g. Purchase Orders, Returns, etc. The Receiving & Returns Supervisor sets expectations for the scope of work within the department and should report any training issues or feedback to the Receiving & Inventory Manager.

Hourly wage is negotiable based on skill level and experience.
