Job Description - RECEIVING CLERK

Description

You will ensure that inventory is received correctly into our inventory management system. A receiver must be self motivated, conscientious, organized, and have excellent attention to detail. 

  • Receiving: Ensuring that prices are accurate, and that the invoices conform to purchase orders
  • Inspecting: Checking for damage and other issues, and resolving discrepancies with invoices
  • Reducing shrink: Ensuring that credit is received for damaged, returned, and out-of-date products
  • Providing customer service: Assisting with special orders and new item requests 
  • Assisting the grocery team as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years' experience in grocery preferred 
  • Microsoft Office proficient 
  • Knowledge of ECRS preferred
  • Ability to stand, move around, or sit for different periods of time
  • Reaching, bending and lifting merchandise, including items weighing up to 60 lbs
