Receiving Inspector

Description

Scope: Responsible for effective receipt and inspection of critical raw materials, and outsourced product into Cartel Inventory.  

Duties:

• Receives purchased goods, services, and returned materials to purchase order and /or appropriate documentation.
• Dispatches and stocks received goods to stores or to purchaser / owner.
• Draw samples per IPC C= 0 plan from outsourced manufacturing or services and delivers to Quality for inspections. Replace samples after inspection.
• Reports short, incomplete, or incorrect receivables to Purchasing, Management, or Supervision.
• Verifies bills of materials (BOM) for stock in inventory.
• Cycle counts and reconciles raw materials inventories on a weekly basis. 
• Reports expired materials to Management for disposition – including discard.
• Processes required paperwork. Enters receiving inspection and data into appropriate logs to support quality system requirements. 
• Enters data into NCMR database for later analysis.
• Breaks down and files completed travelers.
• Enter job and quality information into Manufacturing Control System - ProCim.
• Use approved circuit board handling techniques when processing product.
• Wear personal protective equipment required by the job.
• Maintain a safe, neat and orderly work area.
• Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management. 

Requirements

Qualification:

• Minimum 1 year experience receiving in the printed circuit board or related industry. 
• Read, write and communicate in English to the extent necessary to accomplish the job. 
• Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift 50 pounds without straining.
• Sound basic math skills
• Ability to work with spreadsheets (Excel) word processing programs (Word) and ProCIM.
