Receiving & Supply Specialist
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactiveReceiving & Supply Specialistto support our Corporate Buyers and ensure the smooth, timely, and accurate processing of materials and service orders. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent technical abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate is organized, self‑motivated, and committed to maintaining strong vendor relationships
Key Responsibilities
Communicate with vendors to confirm order details and resolve discrepancies.
Track all material and service orders to ensure timely and accurate processing.
Maintain positive and professional vendor relationships.
Provide support and assistance to Corporate Buyers, including additional assigned tasks.
Uphold confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
Requirements
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Strong oral and written communication skills with a pleasant, professional demeanor.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer.
Detail-oriented with the ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
Proficiency with business machines such as computers, multi-line phones, fax machines, copiers and scanners.
Ability to self-manage and perform multiple tasks without close supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required.
2+ years of purchasing experience preferred.
Combination of clerical experience and relevant education.
SAP software experience preferred.
