Position Summary
Provide extraordinary customer service to patients in a medical office setting. With a primary focus on receiving incoming phone calls, you will assist patients in scheduling appointments, answering questions related to medical services, and take messages related to patient care.
Essential job Functions
Register patients, schedule appointments, receive payments on accounts. Communicate clearly and effectively. Ensure that demographic information is correctly and accurately entered into the system. Provide accurate answers to questions, directions, and basic explanations of clinic services. Proficient in internal call group applications and programs. Provide outstanding service to patients and physicians. Capable of patient registration, collecting co-pays, receiving payments on accounts, and reconciling daily cash reports.
Qualifications
Proficient in basic computer skills, excellent phone etiquette, professional and friendly demeanor. Candidate should be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and have a high level of integrity. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, ten-key, Spanish language, and prior healthcare experience preferred. Basic understanding of anatomy and medical terminology. Previous medical office or phone center experience preferred.
Hours:
Must be available 8am-5pm Monday to Friday. Closed on weekends, evenings and paid holidays
