Job Summary

We are looking for a friendly, welcoming Receptionist to join our teams!

As the Receptionist at one of our busy barber shops, you will be the first point of contact for our clients. You will greet customers as they arrive, book appointments, and answer phone calls, as well as attend to the needs of customers throughout their visit with the barber shop. The ideal candidate has a cheerful disposition, excellent communication, and is capable of multitasking.

Responsibilities

Greet guests as they arrive at the barbershop

Answer phone calls and schedule appointments

Assist with maintaining a clean and organized environment

Provide general customer service and attend to the needs of customers throughout their services

Assist with minimal data entry

General light cleaning, sweeping, dusting and washing/drying/folding towels

Qualifications

18 Years or older

High school graduate

Two or more years of customer service experience is preferred

Previous experience as a Receptionist is preferred

Familiar with scheduling software

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact clearly with customers, and other team members

Excellent multi-tasking and organization skills

Requirements

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Interpersonal skills to create a pleasant experience for all customers, such as being personable, patient and attentive

Reliable, professional, courteous and patient

Time management skills to prioritize and complete a variety of tasks throughout the day

Pro- active, self-starter, ability to keep busy during down times

Compensation: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
