We are seeking an organized and personable Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our repair shop. The Receptionist will handle front-desk operations, assist with administrative tasks, and support customer interactions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in person, on the phone, and via email with professionalism and courtesy.
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar for service technicians.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and email.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area and customer waiting room.
- Assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining customer records in the system.
- Provide basic information about services and pricing to customers.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure smooth communication and scheduling.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve or escalate issues as appropriate.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in office administration is a plus.
- Prior experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with office equipment (phones, printers, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of automotive or diesel repair is a plus but not required.
Compensation:
