Receptionist

This position is onsite Monday – Friday, with a Saturday rotation.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate department or individual(s) while maintaining dealership procedures and protocols for security, confidentiality, and customer service.


• Process customer payments via cash, check, or credit card and maintain accurate records of transactions.


• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the receptionist desk and file room areas.


• Assist with filling, data entry, record-keeping, and preparing documents as needed.


• Assist with scanning vehicle deals and service receipts/invoices to an electronic file system.


• Other responsibilities may be assigned through continued employment.

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma; GED


• Prior experience in a dealership setting or receptionist position is a plus.


• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, clearly and professionally.


• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.


• Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment.


• Basic computer skills, including data entry, payment processing, DMS systems, multi-line phone software, and Microsoft Office.


• Reliable, trustworthy, organized, and efficient.


• Must be able to lift up to 20lbs.


• Ability to operate an automobile with a valid driver’s license.


• Must allow pre-employment screenings, background, driving, and drug test.


• Must be able to perform essential job functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation and comply with workplace health procedures as directed by the public health department.
