Receptionist

Location: Fairfax, VA 22031
Schedule:

• Monday: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Work Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week
Salary: $20-$25.00 per hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Receptionist to join a women’s health medical practice in Fairfax, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in front desk operations within a medical environment, strong patient service skills, and proficiency in Epic EMR. This role will focus on patient check-in/check-out, scanning medical documents, and supporting daily administrative workflows.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Perform check-in and check-out procedures accurately in Epic EMR.
• Scan and organize medical documents into the electronic record system.
• Maintain up-to-date and accurate patient information.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and handle general inquiries.
• Support the practice’s administrative and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 year of experience in a medical front desk or administrative role.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Professional, patient-centered approach with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a clinical environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Compensation:
Salary for this position is determined by several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, knowledge, and competencies, as well as organizational requirements.
