Sigma, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Receptionist to work onsite with our client, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) in Malden, MA. This is a 3-month contract role supporting a busy office of approximately 92 staff members.

Job Details

• Job Title: Receptionist
• Location: Malden, MA (Onsite)
• Schedule: MondayFriday, 7 hours per day
• Pay Rate: (State contract mandate) 19.73

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and route high-volume incoming calls to appropriate staff members
• Provide front desk reception and greet visitors in a professional manner
• Sort, distribute, and process incoming and outgoing mail
• Perform confidential records management and case file copying
• Assist guests, clients, and visitors with check-in and general inquiries
• Use strong problem-solving skills to direct callers to the correct department or staff

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Assistant, or Administrative Assistant
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Basic computer and office equipment skills (phones, copiers, scanners)
• Professional demeanor and strong organizational skills
