You will be reporting to:
Supervisor, Center Administration
Job Responsibilities
· You will operate a switchboard or multi-line phone and maintain long distance call logs.
· You will take and distribute accurate messages.
· Greeting Patients: Welcome patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone.
· You will schedule appointments, manage appointment calendars, schedule patient visits, and coordinate with medical staff to improve schedules.
· You will maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy. Work in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
· You will update patient accounts correctly. May include collecting copay at time of visit.
· You will answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide general information.
· You will ensure the reception area is tidy, sanitized, and well-stocked with necessary materials.
· You will help with other administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies, managing office inventory, and sending courier packages.
Required Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED
· 1 year or more of experience working in a Healthcare setting preferred but will consider candidates with a Customer Service background in Retail Hospitality, Call Centers.
· Excellent customer service
· Team player
· We consider this role patient-facing and runs the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, we will require you to screen for TB.
Other Qualifications:
· Value-based care model experience
· Knowledge of Medical Terminology
· Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)
· Bilingual in English and Spanish
