About Us:
Arroyo Del Oso Property Management is a dynamic and growing property management business dedicated to providing excellent service and support to our clients. We are currently seeking a highly organized and personable individual to join our team as a receptionist with additional responsibilities in accounts receivable and payable.



Job Summary:
As the first point of contact for clients and visitors, the Receptionist plays a key role in presenting a professional and welcoming environment. In addition to front desk duties, this role supports the finance team by assisting with accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) tasks.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff in a professional and friendly manner

  • Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and handle general inquiries

  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries

  • Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area

  • Support AR functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and follow-up on outstanding accounts

  • Assist with AP tasks, including invoice entry, expense tracking, and payment preparation

  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems

  • Provide general administrative support to office staff as needed


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or business is a plus

  • 1–2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably with accounting duties

  • Basic understanding of accounts receivable and payable processes

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
