A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Front Desk Receptionist to join a growing private optometry practice in Lemont, IL. This practice is dedicated to providing comprehensive, personalized eye care, emphasizing the importance of a warm and welcoming environment that encourages both patients and staff to look forward to their visits.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wage: $15 to $19

Hours:

• Mon 8:30-5:30
• Wed 9:30-7:30
• Sat 8:30-3:30

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing phone inquiries, patient scheduling, and addressing general questions.
• Verifying insurance and interpreting benefits from various vision and medical plans.
• Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the practice.
• Supporting the sales team by facilitating transactions for premium-quality glasses and contact lenses.
• Assisting with the fitting and adjustment of eyewear as needed.
• Familiarizing with optical inventory to aid in product selection for patients.
• Contributing enthusiastically to the promotion and growth of the practice.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in healthcare.
• Familiarity with various vision plans, including Eyemed, Spectera, Davis Vision, and VSP, is preferred, but not required.
• Availability to work full-time, including Saturdays and some evenings.
• A consistently excellent attendance record and punctuality.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• A willingness to assist in various tasks that promote office efficiency and contribute to the growth of the practice.
