Job Title: Temporary to Permanent Receptionist
Location: Manhattan, NY
Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (full-time onsite)
Hourly Rate: $30-35 (based on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a Temporary to Permanent Receptionist to join our team in Manhattan, NY. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and advancement within the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing front desk activities, providing administrative support, and ensuring efficient office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls
- Manage and maintain a tidy reception area
- Receive and distribute mail and packages
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed
- Schedule appointments and meetings
- Assist with travel arrangements and expense reports using Concur
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
- Assist with special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of two years' experience working in finance or a related field
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Advanced proficiency in Concur for managing travel arrangements and expense reports
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Professional demeanor with a positive attitude
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
