Reconditioning Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled Reconditioning Technician to join our dynamic team and help us uphold our commitment to excellence.

Position Overview:

The Reconditioning Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic, repair, and maintenance services on pre-owned vehicles. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to ensuring that every vehicle meets our rigorous standards before it reaches our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of pre-owned vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues


• Perform diagnostic tests using specialized equipment to determine the cause of problems


• Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks, including engine, transmission, suspension, and electrical system work
  


• Document all work performed and communicate findings and recommendations to the Service Advisor and/or customer


• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety procedures and guidelines


• Stay current with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal automotive training or certification is preferred


• Seasoned Technician with at least 3 years experience with electric and diagnostics


• Proven experience as an automotive technician, with a focus on pre-owned vehicles


• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment


• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach


• ASE certification(s) or other relevant automotive certifications are a plus


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
