Job Description - RECORDS & INFO MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT)

Summary
This is an Indiana National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service position. This position is part of the IN JFHQ Public Affairs Office, Indiana National Guard under Position Description Number D2534000. If you would like the complete list of duties, please contact the POC of this announcement.

Responsibilities

Serves as the subject matter expert and administrator in the development and implementation of policy and program guidance governing knowledge management (KM) initiatives pertaining to the Army, Air, and State National Guard.

Develops a Core Team and recommends appointment of KM representatives to resolve knowledge management issues.

Employs the Assess, Design, Develop, Pilot, and Implement (ADDPI) methodology and framework to guide project management in all KM solutions.

Provides training to internal, higher (directorates), subordinate, lateral, joint, inter-governmental, and multinational mission partners.

Qualifications
Military Grades: E7 through E9, O1 through O4
Specialized Experience: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Applicants who have the 1 year of appropriate specialized experience, as indicated in the table, are not required by this standard to have general experience, education above the high school level, or any additional specialized experience to meet the minimum qualification requirements.

Indiana National Guard (INNG) Federal Technicians will wait 18 months after being selected for a new position before applying for another position within the INNG. Directors and Supervisors will submit the signed memorandum for final review to the HRO Staffing inbox: [email protected] The Human Resources Officer (HRO) is the final approval for all ETP waivers. If approved, the memorandum will be returned to you and then submitted with your application.

Education
You may combine education with specialized experience to meet the length of experience requirement for GS-12. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. To receive credit for Education, you must provide transcripts or documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.

Indefinite Appointments are TEMPORARY in nature, but eligible to receive benefits.
