Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Records and Sterilization Technician to support our clinical operations. This dual-role position is essential for maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring a sterile, organized clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Records Duties

• Capture high-quality patient photos, X-rays (including panoramic and cephalometric), and 3D scans.
• Accurately enter and maintain patient records in our digital system.
• Prepare diagnostic records for new patients and case presentations.
• Organize and store imaging files and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and office policies.
   

Sterilization Duties

• Clean, sterilize, and prepare all instruments and equipment used during patient care.
• Ensure sterilization and infection control procedures meet OSHA and CDC guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain sterilization logs and quality assurance checks.
• Keep sterilization and storage areas clean, stocked, and organized.
   

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience in a dental or orthodontic setting preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
   
• Skills:
   
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Familiarity with dental/orthodontic software and imaging equipment is a plus.
