Recovery Support Coordinator (Seasonal, Hourly, Non-Exempt)

JOB SUMMARY

Container Centralen, Inc. is a supply chain business for the horticultural industry that has a staff of full-time professionals and a number of field support personnel operating at depots and customer locations across the US. The individual in this role will work as a member of the Operations team under the day-to-day guidance of the Recovery Manager. The primary function of this role is to manage data received from retailers and customers so transportation can be coordinated.

PURPOSE

Expand and improve the CC Operations function so that customers have timely access to equipment, while cost and quality goals are achieved.

JOB DUTIES

Recovery & Office Support Coordination

• Function as a recovery coordinator facilitating the return of CC assets and other assigned equipment from retail stores to distribution centers throughout the United States and Canada
• Coordinating routes created with in-store/on-hand call validation.
• Execute all required retailer call sheets to obtain real time information.
• Assist in the development of solutions for recovering products from remote markets.
• Support the Recovery Manager and the Coordinators for transportation related activities.
• Support all functional groups as needed.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or advanced degree from an accredited university or trade school
• Minimum 1-year experience in a fast-paced customer interacting role (preferred experience in Logistics/Supply Chain/Equipment Handling)
• Ability to manage detailed data or information.
• Demonstrated capability with Microsoft Outlook and Internet Explorer
• Effective communication skills related to phone interaction with customers and vendors.
• Demonstrated capability using Microsoft Excel, reports, pivots, and summaries.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to work well with a minimal amount of supervision.
• Demonstrated flexibility to work as an individual contributor or as part of a team.
• A strong enterprising spirit and desire to be part of a rapidly changing organization.
• Willingness to travel on an as-needed basis (<5%)
• Authorized to work in the United States

Desired Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to interpret directions and situations.
• A history of customer interactions
• Experience negotiating consumer goods costing.
• 3PL Vendor interaction and management
