Job Description - Recovery Support Manager

As a Recovery Support Manager, you'll provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to supervisors managing residential units within ASAC’s substance use disorder program in Linn and Clinton counties.  This role involves ensuring the effective delivery of recovery support services, maintaining program standards, ensuring policy compliance and fostering a positive and supportive environment for both staff and clients.

Key Duties: 

  • Oversee and support a team of supervisors across multiple residential units.
  • Participate in the hiring process for Recovery Support Supervisors and Recovery Support Professional's ensuring the selection of qualified and culturally competent candidates.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews for supervisors, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for growth.
  • Monitor the implementation of program policies and procedures across all residential units. Ensure compliance with state regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in the field of substance use disorder treatment.
  • Develop policies and procedures related to recovery support processes to ensure uniformed approaches across all residential units that are in compliance with state regulations, accreditation standards and best practices.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate professional development opportunities for supervisors and staff.
  • Provide leadership during challenging or crisis situations within residential units. 
  • Serve as back-up to Recovery Support Staff Supervisors and ensuring sites are fully staffed for patient care, or in times of a vacant supervisor position.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, in accordance with HIPAA and 42CFR

Requirements

Qualified candidates will have an associate's degree in human services, psychology, counseling or other related field, and one year of manager level experience in the human services field.   Experience in a leadership or managerial role within a substance use disorder program is preferred. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to pass an extensive background check.
