JOB SUMMARY

So picture this, a small fleet of cardboard boats and their captains are sinking by our beach, who is going to win the race? All that laughing, cheering and fun on the beach, you did that. Running our cardboard boat race, bringing joy to our guests - If you love fun, the outdoors, and working with families, the Recreation Attendant is the position for you! This position is responsible for the instruction and teaching of indoor and outdoor activities that include, but are not limited to: Arts and Crafts, Trivia, Water Wars, Sandcastle Contests, Limbo, Clue, Price is Right, Spud Races and more.

• Run a variety of indoor and outdoor programs for our guests
• Implementation of games, activities, special events, and conference recreation events. These activities may include crafts, escape room, clue, trivia, bingo, sandcastle castles, water wars, and more
• Assist with program and activity registration and payments in Rec Club
• Enjoy a workplace that allows for you to be creative and have fun
• Maintain cleanliness of the recreation areas: rec club, tennis and pickleball courts, sports center, locations on the beach, and any other locations that the Recreation Lead requests
• Able to learn and use software applications to view schedule programs, manage the roster, and take registrations

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout employment.
• Enthusiastic about Cragun's and exceptional customer service
• Must look professional and presentable at all times

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in outdoor recreation activities as a participant or instructor.
• Strong social skills and ability to talk in front of small-large groups of people
