Job Description - Recruiter

Industry:

Full-service material handling and engineered systems business

Company:

Based in Jessup, MD, this company specializes in material handling and engineered systems. They are known for their expertise in forklift equipment, pallet racking, and warehouse management for major clients.

Role:

The ideal candidate will be comfortable meeting new people frequently. They should have excellent organizational skills in order to build and maintain a pipeline of prospective candidates. Additionally, they should be committed to both meeting and exceeding assigned quotas.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
Conduct interviews, assess candidate qualifications, and make recommendations to hiring managers.
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial contact to offer negotiation and onboarding.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to recruitment activities.
Build and maintain relationships with external partners, such as staffing agencies and industry associations.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
3-7 years of experience in recruiting, preferably in warehouse, manufacturing, building materials, or equipment rental industries.
Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring top talent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Driven self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work towards goals.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software is a plus
