The Opportunity

DC Logistics (“DC”) is looking for an exceptional performer to lead our Talent Acquisition process. Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the ideal candidate will have full cycle recruiting experience including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and assimilation. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires, and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.

Additionally, this position will assume Generalist responsibilities and become a key role in what is a small, but growing team.

Key Responsibilities
Partner with hiring managers in all locations to establish recruiting strategy for each position.
Interview and screen applicants for employment and process applications. Create a recruiting and interviewing plan for each assigned position.
Partner with HR Manager to define position requirements and establish recruiting strategy.
Administer the recruiting process for assigned job openings. This includes verifying or obtaining approvals, determining an effective advertising strategy, mining for talent, interviewing and assessing candidates, consulting with leaders in the selection of top candidates, conducting reference and background checks, entering new hire documentation into the HRIS system, and on-boarding new talent.
Consult with leaders and provide guidance in the selection and hiring process to ensure legal compliance.
Manage the Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) ensuring data is clean and complete.
Develop effective working relationships management to identify employment needs and provide consulting advice on recruiting issues and trends.
Measure and assess recruiting outcomes. Identify and implement process improvements.
Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.
Required Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or another related program.
2-3 years of work experience in logistics and/or warehouse recruiting. Experience sourcing commercial drivers is a plus.
Procedural knowledge and proven practice for recruitment, selection, training, compensation, benefits, negotiation, and system navigation.
Proficiency in MS Office suite.
Experience working with ADP-Workforce Now is a plus.
Bi-lingual in English/Spanish is a plus though not required.
Compensation
This position is classified as exempt and subject to all state and federal laws.
The compensation salary range is $60,000-$100,000 USD annually, reflective of experience and location.

Work Environment

This is a full-time at-will position with work hours typically scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Flexibility is needed for occasional evening and weekend work requirements. Work from home opportunities are available.

The physical requirements include:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
