Recruiter (ABA)- Van Nuys (Bilingual/Spanish) - Immediate Start

Developmental Pathways is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join and support our team. Our Administrative Support team members play a vital role in advancing our mission to make a difference in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder and their families. This position requires language fluency in both English and Spanish. The Recruiter will be responsible for researching, developing, and executing effective recruitment and staffing 
strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified talent for the organization.

Position Responsibilities

• Manage background screenings for applicants, volunteers, and interns.
• Facilitate all aspects of the recruitment process.
• Collaborate with department managers to create accurate job descriptions and fulfill staffing needs.
• Implement recruiting methods tailored to each role and industry standards.
• Assist with job postings and advertisements.
• Screen applications and select suitable candidates.
• Coordinate interviews and prepare necessary materials.
• Participate in interviews with managers and stakeholders.
• Support hiring managers during the offer process, including salary recommendations and start date.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Attend college job fairs and recruitment events.
• Support Learning and Development Specialist in training coordination and tracking.
• Manage data integrity in HR systems and perform audits as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 0-2 years recruiting experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to devise sourcing strategies for diverse roles.
• Proactive and self-directed with good time management.
• Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with applicant-tracking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment system
• Work experience in an ABA company is a plus.

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a branch of psychology that uses a scientific data-driven approach including behavioral procedures and techniques. The goals of ABA are:

• Reducing challenging behaviors
• Increasing socially significant behaviors
• Developing or improving activities of daily living (ADLs)

What is Autism?
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder, which manifests itself during the first three years of life and will last the entire life cycle. The fundamental symptoms of autism are 1) Persistent deficiencies in communication and social interaction and 2) Restrictive and repetitive patterns of behavior, interests, or activities.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: Full-Time 9:00am-6:00pm
Location: Office (Orange County)
