Position Summary: The Recruiting Specialist will be responsible for recruiting students for the undergraduate and graduate online programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
â Travel to recruit students for undergraduate and graduate online programs.
â Aggressively generate leads by developing corporate contacts with the area businesses, paraâchurch organizations and churches.
â Track incoming applicant paperwork for each scheduled session start; update, maintain, and provide reporting from the database and other systems and software used by the Admissions office.
â Follow up with prospective students throughout the enrollment process via various forms of communication (i.e. face to face, telephone, electronic, and mailings).
â Schedule and conduct information sessions to generate additional leads.
â Set up displays and be available at job fairs, community colleges, churches, conferences, etc.
â Work closely with other departments within Warner University, having input and direction with design, ordering, and inventory of various adult and online education promotional materials.
â Participation in appropriate professional development workshops and seminars as determined by the Director of Admissions.
â Other responsibilities and functions as requested by the supervisor and or senior leadership team.
Requirements
Qualifications:
â Recruiting experience particularly geared towards adult and online higher education programming.
â Education/Training â A Bachelorâs degree is preferred while some college education is required.
â Computer Skills â Developed ability in Microsoft Office and database software. Knowledge of Slate is helpful, but not necessary.
â Self Driven â Must display the ability to be a self-driven, results oriented team player working independently with minimal supervision.
â Effective Communication Skills both written and verbal; telephone and interpersonal.
â People Skills â A positive attitude; high level of energy and enthusiasm is required. A pleasant and helpful demeanor will assist in the favorable development of relationships.
â Judgment â Excellent critical-thinking skills, sound decision making, prioritization skills, and prompt follow up are key elements.
â Leadership â A display of outstanding leadership and time management skills.
â Supportive of Warnerâs mission, vision and core values, commitment to a Christian lifestyle, and demonstration of character in keeping with biblical models.
â Ability to pass a background check.
