Recycling Facility Shift Supervisor Depack Line

Depack Supervisor – Mount Vernon
Pay: $24.00 – $30.00/hour (DOE)
Location: Mount Vernon, WA | On-site | Full-time

Lautenbach Recycling is hiring a Depack Supervisor to lead daily operations in our depackaging area. You'll manage a team, oversee equipment and production flow, and ensure safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hands-on role located in a fully functioning recycling facility with exposure to dust, noise, heavy machinery, and outdoor conditions.

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise Depack Technicians and lead shift operations


• Monitor production targets and report daily metrics


• Coordinate equipment maintenance and cleaning tasks


• Track performance goals (tons/hour, downtime, etc.)


• Keep the workspace clean, safe, and organized


• Communicate with operations, dispatch, and maintenance

Requirements:

• 1–3 years in industrial, production, or recycling operations


• Prior leadership experience preferred


• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in noisy, dusty, outdoor conditions


• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain

Location: We are in Mount Vernon just north of Highway 20 in the beautiful Skagit Valley. The site is a fully operational Construction & Demolition recycling center which has frequent traffic, dust, and noise.
