Recycling Sorter / Solid Waste Specialist 

Collier County Recycling Centers

$20.30 Hour 

Monday to Saturday schedule ( Day Shift) Will be OFF on all Sundays and one other day during the week 40 Hour work week.  

Must have valid Florida Drivers License and will be required to complete Drug and Background Screenings. 

Recycling Sorter / Solid Waste Specialist 

 -Screens, identifies, and monitors waste entering the landfill scale house operations while providing  customer service. Performs daily maintenance of the landfill operations center. Inspects loads for potential hazards. Identifies all material types and ensures that the load is brought to the proper location/locations within the landfill for recycling, burial or diversion. Provides assistance to customers at the Solid& Hazardous Waste Management facilities. Must be able to Lift up to 50Lbs and be on Feet entire shift. Work will take place in and out doors so being able to work in heat and different weather is a must.
