Job Description - Referral Coordinator



Are you friendly, a quick-thinker, professional, and compassionate? Are you looking for a job that will change lives? If so, we'd love to meet you! Our team is looking for someone to join us to train as a Referral Coordinator and help support our communities in Horry and Georgetown Counties. Our wonderful office is conveniently located in Myrtle Beach.


Referral Coordinators are key personnel in the daily operations of a home care office. From answering phones to being in the field interacting with clients and referral sources, a Referral Coordinator’s scope of responsibility is varied, fast-paced, and rewarding. A mix of social services, operations, customer service, finance, sales, recruiting, and human resources are all parts of a Referral Coordinator’s exciting role.


Referral Coordinator Duties include, but are not limited to:



  • Meeting with prospective clients

  • Getting to know caregivers registered with the office

  • Matching clients to caregivers that meet their needs

  • Completing customer service visits with clients

  • Working as a team in an office environment.


Referral Coordinator Job Requirements:



  • Nurturing ability (caring, empathetic, compassionate)

  • Articulate, with strong verbal and written skills and a pleasant phone manner

  • High level of emotional intelligence

  • Creative problem-solving skills

  • Organized and detailed

  • Good documentation skills
