Job Description:

The refractory worker is a specialized role within the field of refractory services, which involves working with materials designed to withstand extremely high temperatures. The job typically includes tasks such as: Preparing and operating the refractory gunning equipment used to spray refractory materials onto furnace walls, boilers, or other high-temperature industrial equipment. Mixing refractory materials according to specific formulas to ensure proper insulation and heat resistance. Inspecting and maintaining equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely. Following safety protocols rigorously due to the hazardous nature of the work environment and materials.
