Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Refuse/Vac Foreman to join our dynamic team at Environmental Products Group (EPG). The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in the refuse and/or vacuum equipment sector, with a proven track record of technical proficiency and leadership. This role involves performing advanced diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on refuse and vac equipment while guiding and mentoring a team of technicians.

Key Responsibilities: 

· Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on refuse and vacuum equipment, including Elgin, Vactor, and Labrie lines. 

· Lead, train, and mentor a team of technicians to ensure high-quality service and safety standards. 

· Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with industry standards. 

· Collaborate with service managers to prioritize workloads and meet customer expectations. 

· Maintain accurate service records, including work orders and parts inventories. 

· Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations in all operations.

Requirements

· Required: Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in the refuse and/or vacuum equipment sector. 

· Preferred: Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). 

· Preferred: Manufacturer certifications from brands such as Elgin, Vactor, Labrie, or other relevant refuse/vac equipment providers. 

· Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and motivate a team. 

· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

· Excellent communication and customer service skills. 

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
