We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and welcoming Medical Office Front Receptionist to join our healthcare team. As the primary point of contact for our clinic, you will set the tone for patient experiences by providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and supporting administrative workflows in a fast-paced medical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Reception: Greet patients upon arrival, manage the check-in and check-out process, and maintain a clean, organized waiting area.
• Scheduling & Appointments: Answer incoming phone calls, schedule and confirm patient appointments, and handle patient inquiries or triage calls appropriately.
• Patient Registration: Collect, verify, and update patient demographic data and insurance information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Financial Administrative Tasks: Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at the time of service; process payment transactions accurately.
• Insurance Verification: Verify insurance eligibility and pre-authorizations prior to scheduled visits.
• Compliance & Records: Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality and handle medical record requests in accordance with privacy laws.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required (Associate degree or medical administration certificate preferred).
• 1+ years of front desk or administrative experience in a healthcare or medical office environment.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or Modernizing Medicine).
• Strong understanding of medical terminology, basic insurance verification, and billing principles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong commitment to patient care.
• High level of organization, multi-tasking capability, and attention to detail.
