Role Overview
The Regional Branch Manager directs multi-site operations, fabrication, and distribution to achieve strategic growth and operational goals while maximizing profitability. As a regional branch manager, you lead branch managers across a region, set performance objectives, are responsible for managing a P&L, evaluate and optimize performance per company KPIs, ensure culture standards are upheld, and ensure the development of talent to support exceptional customer service.
Manager Responsibilities
- Leading and motivating the team to achieve performance goals.
- Setting clear objectives and expectations for team members.
- Providing coaching, support, and feedback to enhance team performance.
- Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Acting as a liaison between upper management and staff.
- Analyzing performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement.
- Implementing strategic initiatives to achieve organizational goals.
- Addressing personnel issues and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with corporate leaders of centralized services (Finance, Human Resources, IT, Credit & Collections and Sales) in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual operational and financial goals.
- Achieves business objectives and operating targets through strategic direction and oversight.
- Assists Branch Managers and Regional Sales Managers to ensure excellent communication between our outside and inside sales teams to increase sales and provide excellent customer service.
- Works with Branch Managers to ensure the proper hiring and training of all personnel across branches focused on optimizing service and warehouse functions, as well as establishing excellent inside sales teams' branches. This includes helping Branch Manager to ensure inventory accuracy through process development, adherence, and management of this key asset.
- Directs regional operations, manages budgets, and sets performance objectives.
- Maintains relationships with key customers in the region through meetings, entertainment, and participation in industry association activities.
- Manages relationships with key pipe, valve, fitting, and accessory suppliers to ensure pricing concessions for key projects and accounts.
- Ensures fabrication quality, warehousing and delivery services continue to meet or exceed industry standards throughout region.
- Enforces established safety guidelines; promotes a safe workplace throughout region.
- Performs additional duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field preferred.
- 5 years + successfully managing a team of employees.
- Computer literate; Proficient with MS Office 365.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and digital marketing strategies.
- Distribution-specific ERP systems skills, preferably Eclipse
- Ability to effectively communicate [written and verbal].
- Thrives in a collaborative in a team environment.
- Detailed oriented work style comfortable with multiple priorities being juggled while maintaining a consistent work approach.
- Physical requirements: sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to pass a background check, MVR check, and drug test.
