Regional Category Manager - Growth-Minded Organization

Kelly has an amazing opportunity in Cranberry Township, PA for a Regional Category Manager to join one of the fastest growing Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) producers in the USA.  This is a Direct Hire in-office position with a starting salary of $80,000 - $100,000, a lucrative bonus program, and an excellent total benefits package.  As Regional Category Manager, you will provide full time Category Management support to enable strategic regional customers to thrive.  You will provide insight and trends by analyzing info from multiple sources and delivering results to large chain customers.  The ideal candidate will be a proven performer in the world of CPG with expertise in Power BI, modeling techniques like SQL, an excellent knowledge of data mining, and a developed success in managing customer relationships with an eye towards profit and growth.

Please note:  our partner will offer a relocation package to the Pittsburgh, PA area for the right candidate!

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

•    Partner with the regional sales account team to identify and prioritize customer Category Management opportunities
•    Team with the Accounts Team to grow understanding of buyers, the local/regional market, and current / changing category trends
•    Prepare analysis and insight for partner customers and present the findings to buyers
•    Develop strategic relationships with buyers to ensure the organization maintains and grows business opportunities
•    Create and maintain category / business reviews, reports, and planograms for strategic use by the account team
•    Partner with Account Managers on sales calls and present category reviews to customer base

Skills and Requirements:

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Tech, or related field of study is required
•    5+ years of experience in a Sales Analytics role is highly preferred.  Experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) Category Management is a huge plus!
•    Experience and knowledge of the CPG industry is a top priority
•    High-level Power BI skills are required.  Experience with SQL, DAX, and / or other data modeling software highly preferred.
•    Deep experience in creating databases and dashboards highly preferred
