Regional Director of Operations | HVAC | Merging Acquired Companies

Are you a VP of Operations or Director of Operations with strong experience managing field operations for an HVAC company? Are you a Field Operations Director or Service Operations Director who knows the HVAC (heating, cooling, refrigeration). industry inside and out? If you are an Operations guru who loves building and implementing best practices, this HVAC Regional Director of Operations role could be a great fit!

Based in the Phoenix area, this well-funded company/PE firm is acquiring HVAC companies who have strong potential for revenue growth and putting them all under one "roof." They are evaluating and improving their current processes in order to make things more efficient, and then scaling them in order to grow revenue, create jobs, and improve on their overall performance. This Director of Operations will be responsible for creating a scalable organization that will continue to roll up further acquisitions.

You Will:
Establish and implement best practices for all their HVAC businesses
Empower the GM of each location to run their individual businesses better
Be strategic:
-- Create a system for evaluating newly acquired companies to determine what's working and what's not
-- Establish a scalable, sustainable way to implement these practices across current and future acquisitions
-- Once things are running smoothly, drive growth and continue to scale
Be hands-on:
-- Build SOP's and training manuals that GM's will utilize
-- Step in and work with GM's, helping them to get a handle on the new processes
-- Roll up your sleeves until you've created strong enough systems that don't require that any longer
Run a profitable P&L
Focus on continual improvement and continual revenue growth

You Will Need:
Expertise and experience in the HVAC (heating, cooling, refrigeration) industry - know the ins and outs of most departments
Experience running Operations or Field Operations for at least one HVAC company
Experience or understanding of Profit & Loss (P&L)
Have built training manuals and/or SOP's
Desire to drive change and have a massive impact

Big Pluses:
Experience owning or being the #2 in an HVAC franchise
Experience running multiple locations of an HVAC company at one time (regional oversight)
Experience with PE firms or an understanding of how PE firms acquire and improve businesses
