That 1 Painter of NAPERVILLE has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Regional Director. As a Regional Director, you will be responsible for leading the Location Managers for your territories and its respective locations to successfully meet all forecasted revenue goals. This is both a Manager and Individual Contributor role in that the RD will be pivotal in launching and managing new offices and their respective  teams and driving sales to meet pre-defined revenue goals. The RD will also ensure all brand standards and  processes are followed and that KPIs are fully defined, tracked and achieved, all while maintaining our  reputation for excellence.

The basics of the role:

Sales Management: Collaborate with Owner(s) and Location Managers to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth within the region. Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures as needed.  Foster a positive sales-oriented culture, providing guidance and support to sales teams to meet and exceed targets. Constantly pursue strategic relationships on behalf of That 1 Painter in order foster strategic referral networks.

Location Launch and Management: Lead the setup and launch of new offices. Oversee all operational aspects of the offices, including staffing and vendor relations. Ensure that each office operates efficiently and effectively to meet customer demands and high-quality standards.

Recruitment and Team Development: Recruit, hire, train and manage all Location Managers in tandem with the corporate team for each office within the region. Provide leadership and mentorship to Location Managers, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement KPIs for each office and regularly monitor performance against these metrics using our internal HouseCall Pro field service tool. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize location performance. Report on regional  performance to the ownership and corporate team.

Training and Development: Coordinate training programs alongside the corporate office for location managers to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge. Promote a commitment to safety and adherence to industry best practices.

Customer Satisfaction: Work closely with location managers to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Address customer feedback and fully resolve issues promptly.

Support and Collaboration: Collaborate with ownership, corporate and other Regional Directors across the nation to share best practices and drive company-wide initiatives. Provide regular updates and reports to the leadership team on regional activities and progress toward defined initiatives.

 Administrative Oversight: Manage administrative tasks, including but not limited to payroll for painters and location managers. Oversee compliance with state and local jurisdictional requirements for insurance, licensing and permits to operate within the region. Maintain records and documentation to ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal obligations.

Budget Management: Work closely with the Owner(s) to develop and manage budgets for each office within the region. Monitor expenses and revenue to ensure alignment with budgetary goals.  Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize financial performance.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

● Proven experience leading and managing a high performing sales team

● Direct experience in a multi-unit leadership role

● Polished and professional demeanor

● Driven and self-motivated with a strong sales acumen

● Experience managing and resolving escalated issues or concerns for Location Managers or Clients ● Open and honest communicator, accountable, passionate, confident and FUN ● The highest level of ethics and integrity at all times while positively exemplifying and promoting the standards of excellence that define T1P

● Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties while maintaining a high level of organization ● Extremely detail-oriented, dependable, and reliable

● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

● High level of emotional intelligence

● Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field OR relevant experience ● Successful completion of a background and reference check

Compensation Package:

● $80k base salary plus 2% commission on completed projects

This is a full-time role as a W-2 employee of the IL HOUSE PAINTING LLC DBA That 1 Painter and the hours will generally be 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday with an occasional need for weekend or evening work taking part in trade shows, networking events and/or industry events.
