About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President level sales leader to join their Alternatives Distribution team. The successful candidate will be responsible for evolving the client coverage model, leveraging a consultative sales process to acquire and expand client relationships, and developing sales proficiency with a diverse offering menu of alternative investment products. This role requires a strategic approach to partnership with the regional team, working with internal stakeholders and general partners to educate advisors, and regular travel within the market to meet sales goals.Applicants should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the alternative investment industry in a client-facing capacity, with a preference for those with a Bachelor's degree and progress towards or completion of the CFA/CAIA designation or an MBA. Experience working with registered investment advisors or independent broker-dealers in a sales or product specialist capacity is essential, as is a demonstrated track record of success in selling and supporting alternative investment strategies across hedge funds, private equity, private credit, and real estate. The role also requires the ability to take initiative in a heavily formulaic compensation model and the commitment to obtain Series 7 and 63 licenses within 60 days of starting, with a willingness to obtain the CAIA designation within 2-3 years.
