The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.
This role supports our legal operations in the West Coast and Midwest regions.
As the Regional General Attorney, you are responsible for leading and managing the performance of legal operations within an assigned region, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision, goals, and performance targets. Overseeing a team of legal professionals, this role addresses challenges, and develops strategic initiatives to enhance legal representation and case outcomes, while increasing efficiency and maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction. This leader collaborates closely across leadership teams to uphold operational standards, ensure adherence to legal and ethical practices, foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the legal team.
In addition to managing litigation strategies and outcomes, the Regional General Attorney serves as a key business partner, communicating effectively with both Claims and Legal leadership to support strategic planning and large-scale initiatives. When conducting root cause analyses, the Regional General Attorney will identify opportunities for process improvements across regions and offices, prioritizing exceptional quality, satisfaction and performance while championing the development of team members, and ensuring both the team and the clients feel valued and supported.
