New York/ New Jersey Metropolitan Area (Remote with travel to various airport locations)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to serve as a Regional HRBP for our East Coast operations, with a focus on travel retail environments, including airports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor relations, employee engagement, and strategic HR initiatives. This role will be pivotal in driving HR strategies that align with business objectives while ensuring a positive employee experience and fostering a culture of excellence.
Be a trusted advisor and strategic partner to regional and airport leadership teams on all HR-related matters.
Implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support business objectives and foster a positive employee experience.
Support employee relations efforts, including managing labor relations, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
Partner with talent acquisition to drive recruitment efforts, including sourcing, selection, and onboarding of top talent.
Employee engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and diversity and inclusion efforts.
Coaching and support to managers on leadership development, team dynamics, and employee performance.
HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and drive data-driven decision-making.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on labor relations, preferably in the retail or travel industry.
Knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. Working in unionized environments and managing collective bargaining agreements.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Travel to various airport, rail and other locations along the East Coast as needed.
