Job Description - Regional Lacrosse Director

We are looking to add to our staff as our program continues to grow. We are looking for a Regional Director for our PA and NJ programs.

Job Responsibilities

TOURNAMENT ADMINISTRATION

Assist in registering for yearly tournaments
Confirm team attendance in tournaments
Ensure tournaments are paid in full
Administer waivers to all teams and ensure we have full roster participation
If roster numbers are low or a goalie missing, identify and problem solve
Provide logistics one week prior to the tournament including date, time, location, coaches, field map, etc.
Communicate schedule changes to teams
Book travel for coaches including cars and hotel rooms
Complete credit card authorization forms for coach’s hotel rooms
Administer and plan SOLO trips where applicable

ON SITE COACHING AND COVERAGE

Coach and be present at ULTIMATE Trainings and Events
Cover for Head Coaches who cannot attend practice or tournament games
Provide feedback to coaches
Ensure all teams have coverage for practices and games. Swing coaches or find coach coverage when necessary.

TEAMSNAP ADINISTRATION

Input practice, tournament, and event schedules into TeamSnap
Ensure TeamSnap remains up to date with contact information including coaches, Team Parents, Social Coordinators, etc.
Set up and take down registrations for all events using the app

PLAYER EXPERIENCE

The main goal of our club is to provide a great experience for our players on and off the field.
Manage Team Parents and Social Coordinators
Send emails with schedules for Team Parents to input
Follow up with Social Coordinators re: planning team activities outside of practice
Host quarterly club events for parents and players to attend that further the mission of the club i.e. community service, mental health, leadership, etc.
Send birthday postcards to players

YEARLY CALEDNAR PROGRAMMING

Create and administer the yearly calendar for the club including practices, tournaments, 4SQUARE training, club activities, etc.
Responsible for current programs including Little Laxers, Winter Elite, Summer Programs, etc.
oEtc. to include programs that bring players into the club and grow revenue
Create and execute programs that further the growth of the club at all levels

CLUB COMMUNICATION

Send Weekly “Housekeeping Emails” to location including everything they need to know for the week
Respond to emails in a timely manner
Host Weekly Office Hours with families
Follow up and communicate to families re: schedule changes, programming changes, team updates, etc.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND CREATION OF PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMS

Reach out to schools, recreational programs, etc. to share and distribute our information to get more kids into the program
Offer partnerships with recreation programs to expose players to ULTIMATE.
This includes hosting clinics, coaches’ clinics, etc.
You should work closely with the Executive Director on this initiative to receive guidance
Host and run programs that showcase the club and encourage outside participation

Other duties as assigned that directly relate to the job and specifically having a team at every grade level (minimum) and or an A and a B team.
