Regional Manager

Description

We have expanded into North Carolina in the New Bern area. We are looking for a hands-on manager to oversee the day-to-day ice operations to include manufacturing, distribution, delivery, maintenance, and sales. 

Key duties and responsibilities include: 

• Oversee production and distribution to ensure fulfillment of all customer orders for assigned plants.
• Review and analyze daily production reports to promote a performance-driven and continuous-improvement environment for increased efficiencies.  
• Review delivery efficiencies and analyze runouts.
• Ensure sanitizing and cleaning requirements are completed.
• Provide oversight for merchandiser installations and repairs.
• Maintain preventive maintenance program and make updates as needed.
• Manage parts and equipment inventory.
• Partner with Human Resources to coordinate the interviewing, hiring, and training of direct report employees.
• Handle customer service requests and issues.

Ideal candidate will have three years of leadership experience in the ice business or related food production industry with an understanding of seasonal demand. Must have a good driving record, preferably with a commercial driver’s license.
